Overnight Cook (Commis 2) Job Description We are seeking a skilled Overnight Cook to join our team at Four Seasons Resort & Residences Whistler, responsible for preparing and executing overnight menu items, including In Room Dining. About the Location: Whistler, home to North America's largest ski resort, offers a unique blend of alpine living and outdoor adventure. The area provides endless opportunities for mountain biking, hiking, and skiing, as well as a vibrant village with upscale amenities. Job Responsibilities: • Preparing and executing overnight menu items, including In Room Dining • Setting up food stations and obtaining necessary equipment and materials • Preparing food stations for service, including organizing and managing banquets and buffets • Cleaning and inspecting kitchens and food service areas • Preparing and plating items in a timely and accurate manner • Preparing dishes for guests with allergies or food intolerances • Communicating with cooks regarding timing • Maintaining records and ordering food, supplies, and kitchen equipment Requirements: • Culinary education or several years of commercial cooking experience • 2+ years of culinary experience • Ability to work overnights • Passion for food • Excellent knife skills and cleanliness • Strong command of the English language • Excellent commitment to service and teamwork • Ability to obtain a clean criminal record check • Eligibility to work in Canada What's in it for you: • Access to affordable shared staff accommodation • Employee theme recognition days and events • Complimentary meal per shift in our employee dining room • Paid time off; vacation days and additional floating holidays per year • Excellent training and development program • Discovery Nights at Four Seasons worldwide
