- Clinical Decision Making: Use critical thinking and clinical judgment to make informed decisions about patient care. Collaborate with the interprofessional care team to resolve issues and adjust care plans as needed.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interprofessional care team to ensure seamless care delivery. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to share knowledge and best practices.
- Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes. Provide timely and accurate reporting to the interprofessional care team and management.
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Completion of the applicable post-graduate specialty nursing course/program and/or willingness to complete the applicable post-graduate specialty nursing courses/program.
- Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
