Data Science Co-op for AI Solutions

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Science co-op to join our team and assist in building AI solutions to solve business problems. As a Data Science co-op, you will work closely with product owners, business stakeholders, data scientists, data engineers, and ML engineers to develop and implement AI solutions that drive business value.
Job DescriptionWhat will you do?
As a Data Science co-op, you will be responsible for assisting with:
- Exploring data science opportunities across RBC Insurance business
- Conducting exploratory data analytics, preparation, and integration of large and various types of data
- Building and productionizing AI/ML solutions using enterprise MLOps technologies
What do you need to succeed?
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Progress towards a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or relevant fields
- Familiarity with ML concepts, NLP, and text analytics methods and packages
- Advanced Python coding skills and hands-on experience with data analysis packages such as Pandas and machine learning packages such as Scikit Learn
- Strong communication and presentation skills
