Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise, including bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
- Ensure the department is fully stocked and ready for business.
- Verify merchandise is properly signed and priced.
- Adhere to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, food handling, product rotation, and expiration dates.
- Follow proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
- Prepare bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines.
- Ensure all displays are secured in a safe and proper manner.
The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $17.85, with rate of pay determined based on relevant experience.
