**Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Health Careers in Saskatchewan. As a key member of our plant maintenance team, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring computerized building control systems, maintaining facility/plant systems and equipment, and performing major repairs/installations on complex building systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor computerized building control systems to ensure optimal facility performance.
  • Maintain facility/plant systems and equipment, including performing routine maintenance, repairs, and installations.
  • Independently perform major repairs/installations on complex building systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and optimize facility operations.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of industry best practices, new technologies, and emerging trends in facility maintenance.

Requirements:

  • **Education:** Building Systems Technician certificate
  • **Licenses:** Power Engineering License pursuant to the Boiler & Pressure Vessels Safety Act, Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • **Competencies:** Intermediate - Computer skills, Interpersonal skills, Organizational skills, Communication skills
  • **Knowledge and Abilities:** Knowledge of tools and equipment, Ability to work independently
