Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Health Careers in Saskatchewan. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring computerized building control systems, maintaining facility/plant systems and equipment, and performing major repairs/installations on complex building systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor computerized building control systems to ensure optimal facility performance
  • Maintain facility/plant systems and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operations
  • Perform major repairs/installations on complex building systems and equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
  • Work independently to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure seamless operations and effective communication
Requirements
  • Building Systems Technician certificate
  • Power Engineering License pursuant to the Boiler & Pressure Vessels Safety Act
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Refrigeration Plant Operator certificate, where required by the job
  • 5th Class Engineering certificate, as required by the Boiler and Pressure Vessels Safety Act
  • Refrigeration Engineer certificate, where required by the job
  • Pool Operator certificate, where required
