Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a talented Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Rio Tinto Labrador City. As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for being involved in project identification, research, design, development, planning & scheduling, execution, and reliability of rotating and fixed equipment while supporting the safe and reliable operation of all areas of our Kennecott site.

To be eligible for the Graduate program, you must have completed your studies within the last two years (2023, 2024) or working towards graduation in 2025. You will need to have a Bachelor or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related field, less than two years of relevant work experience, right to work in the Canada, valid driver's license, willingness to learn and to make an impact, interest in working in an industrial environment, curiosity in learning a variety of technical applications of mechanical engineering, and ability to collaborate and ask questions.
