About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Discipline Engineering Department as a Civil/Structural or Mechanical Engineering co-op student. This 4-month internship will provide you with the opportunity to work on research, design, development, testing, and maintenance of aspects of mining, mineral process operations, and capital project development and execution.

Your Responsibilities

  • Support the Capital Sustaining projects team in Discipline Engineering Department
  • Contribute to research, design, development, testing, and maintenance of aspects of mining, mineral process operations, and capital project development and execution
  • Collaborate with colleagues and teams to achieve project goals
  • Develop and maintain engineering drawings and documentation
  • Participate in safety initiatives and promote a safety-first culture

Requirements

  • At least two years of completed studies in Civil or Mechanical, Civil/Structural Engineering, or any other related field
  • Safety mindset and leadership skills
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges
  • Flexibility and autonomy to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and documentation
  • Valid driving license and fluency in French and English, both written and spoken
