We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineering co-op student to join our Discipline Engineering Department as a 4-month intern. This exciting opportunity will provide you with hands-on experience in research, design, development, testing, and maintenance of aspects of mining, mineral process operations, and capital project development and execution.
Your Responsibilities- Support Capital Sustaining projects team in Discipline Engineering Department
- Contribute to research, design, development, testing, and maintenance of mining and mineral process operations
- Collaborate with colleagues and teams to achieve project goals
- Develop and maintain engineering drawings and documentation
- Participate in safety initiatives and promote a safe working environment
- Currently enrolled in a Civil or Mechanical Engineering program or related field
- At least two years of completed coursework in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Safety mindset and commitment to a safe working environment
- Leadership skills and eagerness to learn and take on new challenges
- Flexibility and autonomy to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and documentation
- Valid driving license
- Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken
