Join Goodyear Canada Inc. as a Retread Technician and contribute to the production of high-quality retread tires for commercial vehicles.

As a Retread Technician, you will be responsible for performing retreading functions through manual and automated processes, ensuring safety, quality, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train on all aspects of retread tire manufacturing, including inspecting and buffing tire carcasses, applying rubber compounds, curing, and quality control.
  • Follow processes to ensure retread tire completion and meet quality standards.
  • Comply with safety and liability guidelines, using protective safety equipment to ensure safe operation of machines.
  • Perform manual tasks for extended periods, including light and heavy lifting, standing, bending, and squatting.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship
  • Ability to lift heavy materials, climb, stand, squat, bend, and work at heights with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Basic computer skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluent in French
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
