About the Opportunity
As RBC's ambassador to the local business market, you will provide business and financial advice to high-value small business clients, helping them navigate the challenges of starting, managing, and growing their enterprises. You will be responsible for developing new business for RBC and deepening client relationships through exceptional client service and tailored financial advice.Key Responsibilities
• Acquire, grow, and deepen client relationships through delivery of value-added, tailored financial advice
• Proactively contact clients to understand their needs and changing circumstances
• Plan and prioritize client and market activities to identify opportunities and make introductions to RBC partners
• Manage risk and exercise due diligence in all banking procedures
• Champion digital enablement and advocate for RBC mobile and online applications
• Visit clients on-site to gain a thorough understanding of their business objectives and operations
Requirements
• Business development and client acquisition skills, including building and leveraging valuable Centres of Influence
• Proven track record in exceptional client relationship management
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Credit skills and knowledge, including an understanding of risk assessments and financial analyses
