Direct Store Delivery Associate

Join Walmart Canada as a Direct Store Delivery Associate and develop your skills in the retail industry. This role is ideal for those looking for a challenging and rewarding career in customer service or retail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and process direct and local merchandise for delivery to the salesfloor to ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Ensure high-ticket merchandise is properly secured in a designated location.
  • Process direct and local shipments promptly, including OMNI merchandise and alcohol.
  • Train other DSD Associates to follow all receiving area processes.
  • Ensure a clean receiving area by preparing returns, claims, and MTR's for prompt shipment.
  • Follow and promote safety rules for lifting procedures, box blades, pallet jacks, and ladders.
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager and Office Support Associate to correct any problems or discrepancies.
  • Safeguard backdoor and key controls to ensure compliance with Company guidelines.
  • Follow guidelines for cold chain compliance to ensure quality assurance.
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience in a retail or customer service environment.
  • Ability to lift and move merchandise as required.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Previous experience in a receiving or delivery role.
