Job SummaryThis role is responsible for performing material movement duties in the warehouse, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of finished goods.
Key Responsibilities- Operate the carousel system to pick orders and restock, verifying product, lot numbers, and quantities to ensure accuracy and update SAP and Nova systems.
- Pack shipments using SAP, verifying correct product, lot numbers, and quantities, and checking for proper order and shipping labels.
- Pick orders from overstock and ensure correct lot numbers and quantities are picked using the RF unit.
- Ship orders using a computerized freight management system.
- Move materials to optimize warehouse space and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment in the warehouse safely and efficiently, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
- Physically receive materials and verify shipment accuracy, reporting any discrepancies to the Inventory Analyst.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Documents (SODs), and Safe Work Procedures (SWPs).
- Adhere to regulatory requirements and industry standards, including those set by the Health Products and Food Branch Inspectorate (HPFBI) and the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA).
- Maintain a commitment to Apotex's corporate mission and values, including collaboration, courage, perseverance, and passion.
- Participate in internal and external audits, inspections, and assessments as required.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Perform all work in accordance with established regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Education: Post-secondary education preferred.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Fluent written and oral communication in English; basic knowledge of computer operations; willingness to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a logistics environment, with pharmaceutical experience an asset.
