This individual will play a pivotal role in advancing our strategic initiatives as we work to elevate Mitch to new heights.
What you'll do
As our COO, you'll lead efforts to modernize and scale all aspects of our business.
Reporting directly to our CEO, you'll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, optimizing processes, and implementing strategies to drive efficiency, innovation, and sustainable growth.
You'll also help cultivate a positive and inclusive culture throughout our organization.As a strategic leader, you'll assist in designing and implementing business plans, policies and procedures that are aligned with our core values.
These will not only maximize performance and growth, but also foster an environment that embraces change and values adaptability.You'll collaborate with other senior leaders to assess and manage overall business and department performance by analyzing and interpreting data and key performance metrics and comparing them against industry benchmarks.
You'll play an active role in growth and expansion activities, and will prioritize and champion new technologies and processes to enhance service levels, productivity, and profitability.
Additionally, you will work with external regulators and legal partners to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.Leading by example, you'll inspire and motivate our team and provide ongoing coaching and feedback as we all work together to take Mitch to the next level.

Your qualifications
You possess exceptional leadership skills, have worked as a COO or relevant role, and have a proven track record in driving transformational change.
You also have experience with scaling an organization and know what it takes to succeed in a dynamic, fast-evolving industry.
Your ability to make data-driven decisions to align goals and objectives, identify opportunities, and develop and execute strategy is second to none.
You also have considerable experience implementing and optimizing operational processes to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.You pride yourself on building and developing high-performing teams. You possess exceptional communication and public speaking skills.
You believe in being honest and transparent with teammates and encourage two-way feedback, regardless of how challenging a conversation may be.
You understand there isn't a one-size-fits-all formula for leading and mentoring people, and adapt your communication and coaching methods to work with all teammates in an inclusive way that's effective for them.
Previous experience in the insurance industry is a definite asset.
