Postdoctoral Research Fellow

We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our team at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering. The successful candidate will work in the Lees Lab, a research group focused on developing electrochemical technologies to address critical climate challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research and development of sophisticated continuum models for electrochemical CO2 capture and conversion.
- Work closely with industry partners to model and design efficient reactors.
- Lead and coordinate bi-weekly meetings with industry partners to communicate research results and direct future research activities.
- Mentor PhD and Master's students in the Lees Lab.
- PhD degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or related field, obtained within the last 5 years.
- Experience in experimental or computational electrochemistry.
- A strong record of research productivity commensurate with the experience of the candidate.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.

- A competitive salary of $65,000 per annum.
