Postdoctoral Research Fellow

The University of British Columbia Department of Radiology and TRIUMF Life Sciences Division, in collaboration with BC Cancer Research Centre, are seeking a talented postdoctoral research fellow to join a dynamic team to develop radiopharmaceuticals using emerging radioisotopes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a novel Ac-225 based radiopharmaceutical: prepare preclinical study protocols, carry out the bio-distribution, toxicity and therapy monitoring studies.
- Represent the project at conference symposia as well as publish the study data in the peer-reviewed literature.
Ph.D. in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or equivalent field of research. Intimate knowledge and hands-on experience with cell culture, tumour inoculation and rodent care are required. Communication and coordination skills are strong assets.
