Manager, Talent Management
The Manager, Talent Management, is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the company's talent management programs. This position focuses on developing and implementing initiatives to develop, retain, and engage top talent. This role will collaborate with People & Culture leadership and business unit leaders to align talent strategies with organizational goals and foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.
The Manager, Talent Management, plays a critical role in shaping the workforce and driving the company's success through strategic talent initiatives. This position requires a dynamic and forward-thinking leader dedicated to fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring the organization's talent meets current and future business needs.
What You'll Be Doing:
Talent Cycle
- Lead the design and execution of talent processes such as goal setting, performance management, feedback, individual development plans.
- Lead the annual performance review cycle process and partner with Compensation, Finance and HR Business team on merit and bonus planning.
- Lead and support the Leadership 360 program.
- Ensure practices are integrated with other People processes across the full employee lifecycle.
- Partner with Internal Communications to write communications plans and create other internal content related to our talent management programs.
- Train and prepare job aids, guides, and training materials for Managers and P&C Business Partners
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging research in talent management and organizational development to inform program design and implementation.
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to enhance our internal mobility strategy, including but not limited to developing and delivering career pathing programs and internal opportunity marketing.
- Design methods for measuring quality and effectiveness of the strategy, programs and tools. Use measurements to drive continuous improvement.
- Leverage the enhanced capabilities of the HRIS (Workday) to advance and accelerate the application of talent practices; develop strong systems capability; utilize data to drive results.
- Support business strategy and objectives and enable a talent return on investment through consultation with HR and business leaders to understand talent needs, develop plans/processes to resolve business and/or organizational challenges, and to construct talent solutions aligned to strategy.
- Support the continued development and execution of the global talent management and DIB strategy.
- Lead and manage talent management projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and timely delivery of milestones.
- Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets for talent management initiatives, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify talent needs, define project scope, and establish clear goals and deliverables for talent management programs.
- Facilitate regular project meetings and updates, ensuring transparent communication of progress, challenges, and successes to all relevant parties.
- Support the continued development and execution of the global talent management and DIB strategy.
- Manage related communications, develop guidelines, and communicates with the regions to understand their needs, and supports with talent processes.
- 5+ years of experience in talent management, human resources, or related roles.
- Post-secondary degree considered an asset.
- Understanding of talent development, talent mobility and strategy including extensive knowledge of talent programs and best practices.
- HRIS experience preferred, Workday experience considered an asset.
- Office 365 products, including Excel, Outlook, Teams and Sharepoint knowledge.

- Proven leadership in successful global Talent Management programs
- Track record of designing, managing, and scaling Talent Management programs such as performance management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
- Ability to plan and prioritize work, balancing multiple activities and changing priorities.
- Lead with a global and inclusive mindset to shape people practices that support a diverse workforce.
