About the Role

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Migration Specialist to join our implementation team at ClearRisk. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for deciphering, mapping, cleansing, transforming, and ensuring the quality of customer data during the migration process into our solution.

This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth and accurate transition of customer data, enabling our clients to fully leverage our platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and Interpret Customer-Provided Data: You will analyze and interpret customer-provided data, often in the form of spreadsheets, to understand structure and content.
  • Map Customer Data to Our Internal Data Model: You will map customer data to our internal data model, ensuring compatibility and integrity.
  • Perform Data Cleansing and Transformations: You will perform data cleansing and transformations to rectify any inconsistencies, errors, or omissions in the source data.
  • Develop and Execute Scripts or Use ETL Tools: You will develop and execute scripts or use ETL tools to automate the data transformation and migration process.
  • Conduct Quality Assurance Checks: You will conduct thorough quality assurance checks to verify the accuracy and completeness of the migrated data.
  • Collaborate with Implementation and Customer Success Teams: You will collaborate with the Implementation and Customer Success teams to understand specific customer requirements and ensure data migration aligns with business needs.
  • Provide Support and Troubleshooting: You will provide support and troubleshooting during and after the migration process to address any data-related issues.
  • Document Data Migration Processes: You will document data migration processes and maintain comprehensive records for auditing and troubleshooting purposes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a Related Field: You must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven Experience in Data Migration, Cleansing, Transformation, and Validation Processes: You must have proven experience in data migration, cleansing, transformation, and validation processes.
  • Knowledge of Spreadsheet Manipulation in Excel and Google Sheets: You must have knowledge of spreadsheet manipulation in Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Proficiency in Using ETL Tools and Scripting Languages: You must have proficiency in using ETL tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, SQL) for data manipulation.
  • Familiarity with Data Modelling and Relational Databases: You must have familiarity with data modelling and relational databases.
  • Strong Analytical Skills and Attention to Detail: You must have strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent Problem-Solving Abilities and Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team: You must have excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
