Are you task oriented with a proven ability to maintain a high level of accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment? The job involves:
- Analyzing and maintaining General Ledger accounts
- Preparing Journal entries
- Preparation of monthly internal actual vs budget variance reports
- Providing information and analysis as requested
- Prepare account reconciliations on a monthly basis
- Assist with ad hoc reporting for year end and quarter end
- Working independently and in a team environment collaborating with other departments to determine the accuracy of data
- Working safely, and in compliance with OH&S policies and legislation
- Thorough knowledge of all activities and promotions occurring at our casino properties
- Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation
The ideal candidate has:
- College or university education with some accounting or business courses
- Minimum 1 year accounting experience
- Excellent data entry, analytical and problem solving skills
- Exceptional communication skills, organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Financial Reporting Systems
