Odgers Berndtson is partnering with Niagara Health to identify a highly accomplished and visionary leader for the critical role of Executive Vice President, Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer (EVP/CFO). This impactful position offers an exceptional opportunity to shape the financial and operational future of a leading healthcare organization committed to delivering extraordinary patient care.
Reporting directly to the President and CEO, the EVP/CFO will serve as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team. They will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive strategies across finance, asset management, strategic sourcing, facilities management, and new revenue streams.
This dynamic leader will guide a diverse portfolio encompassing environmental services, facilities, food services, finance, and strategic sourcing and logistics. A commitment to quality, innovation, and patient experience will be paramount as the EVP/CFO ensures seamless integration, effective communication, and collaborative partnerships across the organization.
The ideal candidate possesses a proven track record of success in leading and managing complex financial operations within a healthcare or similarly intricate environment. A deep understanding of financial management principles, coupled with expertise in corporate services, is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic financial plans aligned with Niagara Health's mission and vision.
- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and risk management.
- Lead the development and execution of strategies for asset management, facilities management, and new revenue generation.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to the Board of Directors in fulfilling their fiduciary responsibilities.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the finance and corporate services teams.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Finance or an MBA is required.
- Professional accounting designation (CPA) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive senior management experience in finance and corporate services, preferably within a healthcare setting.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of an organization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
