The Director, Corporate EHS Internal Manufacturing will be responsible for leading the company's environmental, health, and safety efforts within the New Brunswick facility. The successful candidate will have a strong background in EHS and will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on EHS procedures and protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks to the environment, health, and safety.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce waste and improve sustainability.
- Monitor and report on EHS metrics and performance indicators.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
- Provide technical guidance and support to employees on EHS-related issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, industrial hygiene, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in EHS, with a strong background in regulatory compliance.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective EHS programs and policies.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to analyze complex data and develop recommendations for improvement.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to EHS.
