About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Intermediate Environmental Engineer to join our team at Englobe. As a key member of our environment team, you will play a crucial role in the implementation and management of environmental projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and complete assigned activities related to environmental project implementation and management.
  • Perform phased environmental site assessments, including historical research, site inspections, and soil and groundwater sampling programs.
  • Conduct surveys for designated substances and other hazardous materials.
  • Supervise and verify site remediation and tank removal activities.
  • Monitor air quality.
  • Prepare field notes, data analysis, and evaluation.
  • Participate in technical report and proposal writing.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules.
Requirements
  • University degree or college diploma in environmental engineering, earth sciences, or an environmental-related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant environmental assessment/field experience.
  • Member of Professional Engineer and Geoscientists is an asset, but not mandatory.
  • Working knowledge of both provincial and federal environmental regulations.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in supervising contractors on the work site.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to complete work within established timeframes.
  • Team-oriented and excellent communicator.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout Atlantic provinces on an occasional basis.
