Lead Our Kitchen Team as a Chef de Cuisine

We are seeking a passionate and driven Chef de Cuisine to help lead our kitchen team at Buca Vaughan. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Italian cuisine, seasonality, and great products, as well as the ability to manage team building, leadership, food costs, budgets, and labor costs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role with a strong knowledge of Italian cuisine
  • Ability to execute detailed dishes with high cover counts
  • Experience with Excel, Microsoft, and other platforms
  • Diploma from a culinary school is an asset
  • Excellent social and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and collaborate with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef team
  • High attention to detail
  • Valid Canadian Work Permit and Social Insurance Number (SIN) required
