The Lake Louise Ski Resort (LLSR), a world-class ski area nestled in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, is looking for an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join its Calgary team. Reporting to the C.F.O, you are a dynamic player who will be responsible for day-to-day accounts payable coordination, general ledger accounts reconciliation, accruals, payments processing and accounts analyses.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Control, 3-way match, code and distribute AP invoices on the cloud platform SAP Concur
  • Import approved invoices from Concur to Sage, and post credit cards statements
  • Process employee expense reimbursements
  • Control appropriate level of approval and prepare weekly payments
  • Manage vendor's credit application and maintain vendor master file
  • Manage AFE's and related reporting
  • Maintain filing organized and up-to-date
  • Provide back up for AR and bank activities
  • Communicate effectively with vendors and internal staff to resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner
  • Review, analyze and reconcile AP ledger and AP balances to ensure liabilities are accurate
  • Provide suggestions and feedback to improve procedures and maintain related documentation
  • Assist with month end duties and other accounting activities as required, including AR and bank activities

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years related experience with a sound knowledge of accounts payable processing.
  • Post Secondary education in accounting
  • Committed to personal growth, development and ongoing learning.
  • Strong Microsoft skills, especially Excel skills (VLOOKUP's, pivot tables).
  • Sage 300 and SAP Concur or equivalent software experience is required.

This is a full time and permanent position, which could potentially be adapted to a part-time position for the summer period. Position located in Calgary. Some travels to Lake Louise are required.
