Loader Operator

Helical Pile Solutions is a leading deep foundations contractor with over 30 years of experience in the industry. Our team has a strong track record of delivering complex projects, and we are seeking a skilled Loader Operator to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation of piling foundations on active construction sites.
- Operate heavy equipment, including loaders, to move materials and equipment.
- Coordinate ground activities and ensure safe and efficient pile placement.
- Exhibit pride in workmanship and execute duties safely, accurately, and efficiently.
- Comprehend the importance of dependability and consistency in a high-performance team environment.
- Understand and manage field-level risks through the required steps of a Field Level Hazard Assessment (FLHA).
- Ability to follow direction and work within a demanding environment.
- Capable of working in all weather conditions.
- Identify bottlenecks or hazards and plan and execute tasks safely.
- Possess good judgement and organizational skills.
Requirements:
- Previous work experience with a Loader in an industrial capacity is required.
- Understand the limitations of working on a right-of way (ROW) and working within environmental constraints.
- Experience with loading, unloading & moving large diameter pipe on a ROW with a Loader (fork & grapple).
- Must have a current valid driver's license and able to provide a clean driver's abstract.
- Related certificates and training are preferred: PST, Ground Disturbance, CSTS-09, First Aid, H2S Alive, WHMIS, OSSA.
Work Conditions:
- Construction environment.
- Outdoors, including travel to remote locations.
- Exposure to loud noises.
- Exposure to extreme temperatures.
- Physical elements include bending, twisting, crouching, kneeling, standing for long periods of time, lifting weights up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be always worn.
- Fast paced with tight deadlines.
- Accommodations while on a project are arranged by HPS in either a camp setting or hotel as determined by project requirements.
- Shift work.
- Work schedule may vary.
