Cutting Edge Landscaping Ltd is seeking a skilled Landscaping Lead Hand to oversee daily operations and manage a team of construction personnel.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a crew of landscaping construction personnel and coordinate daily tasks
  • Take direction from on-site foremen and project managers for site operations
  • Organize and motivate team members to achieve project goals
  • Coordinate with project managers, trucking department, and subcontractors for site timelines, deliveries, and obstacles
  • Source materials and equipment from alternative suppliers based on project location and availability
  • Recognize safe operating procedures and proper training on equipment

What We're Looking For:

  • Able to operate company trucks with and without trailers
  • Operate a variety of equipment including skid-steer loaders, excavators, forklifts, backhoes, and more
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have an attention to detail
  • Perform equipment maintenance and daily checks
Requirements:
  • 1 year+ of similar experience as a Landscape Construction Lead Hand
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Bend, rotate, and stand for long periods of time
  • Class 5 Driver's Licence - Required
  • CSTS-2020 certification
  • First Aid Certification
  • Steel Toed Boots, Hard Hat, Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, and Gloves

Please note: Work is labour-intensive and will be outdoors in all weather conditions.
