Snowmaker

The Snowmaker is a key member of our team responsible for producing high-quality snow using snowmaking equipment. This is a seasonal contract position that requires flexibility and a willingness to work in a variety of conditions.
Responsibilities- Produce quality snow using snowmaking equipment
- Adjust and maintain snow guns to ensure optimal performance
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment and document any issues
- Maintain safety barriers and ensure roads, parking lots, and walkways are clear of snow
- Operate specialized seasonal maintenance equipment
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a smooth ski season
- Adhere to Conservation Halton's Safety Policies and Procedures
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and overnights
- Previous experience operating equipment is an asset
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in adverse weather conditions
- Valid Ontario Driver's License and CSA-approved safety footwear
- Competitive hourly rate of $21.73
