Job Title: Snowmaker Company: Conservation Halton Location: Milton, ON About the Job

The Snowmaker is a key member of our team responsible for producing high-quality snow using snowmaking equipment. This is a seasonal contract position that requires flexibility and a willingness to work in a variety of conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Produce quality snow using snowmaking equipment
  • Adjust and maintain snow guns to ensure optimal performance
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment and document any issues
  • Maintain safety barriers and ensure roads, parking lots, and walkways are clear of snow
  • Operate specialized seasonal maintenance equipment
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a smooth ski season
  • Adhere to Conservation Halton's Safety Policies and Procedures
Requirements
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and overnights
  • Previous experience operating equipment is an asset
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in adverse weather conditions
  • Valid Ontario Driver's License and CSA-approved safety footwear
