Summary: We're seeking a Manager Facilities to lead our facilities management team, overseeing building reception, security, meeting rooms, and catering services, as well as managing real estate transactions and budgets.

We're looking for a Manager Facilities to join our growing team, playing a key role in ensuring our workplaces are safe, integrated, connected, and inspiring. This position requires 5 days in the office and occasional travel to other locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of facilities management, including building reception, security, meeting rooms, and catering services.
  • Manage the relocation and ongoing alignment of the real estate portfolio.
  • Manage transactions and reporting.
  • Lead and mentor a team of 20+ experts across multiple locations, developing emerging leaders and supporting managers to do the same.
  • Collaborate with our leadership team to plan and implement strategic return to office initiatives.
  • Develop and manage regional budgets and reporting requirements.
  • Manage external relationships, including landlords, real estate agents, and suppliers.
  • Identify, evaluate, and support internal process improvement opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • 5+ years of management experience, including the ability to motivate and engage a team.
  • Solid knowledge and experience in facilities and real estate management, including transactional negotiations.
  • Experience in managing relationships with external suppliers.
  • Experience in managing multi-office operations.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, with certification or experience in project management an asset.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Creative spirit, exceptional decision-making skills, and willingness to keep abreast of new trends in real estate.
  • Ability to work under pressure, adapting approach and work to an unexpected or unpredictable situation.
  • No Canadian work experience is required, but candidates must have the right to work in Canada.
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required.
