Job Summary

Health Careers in Saskatchewan is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in a dynamic and growing hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the needs of patients in various departments, including Short Term Psychiatric Rehabilitation, Extended Psychiatric Rehabilitation, Secure and Forensic Service Areas.
  • Develop and implement therapeutic individual and group programs tailored to patient needs and unit objectives.
  • Provide patient assessment and treatment plans, including behavior management programs, and contribute to formal and informal discussions of all cases.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

  • PhD in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Authorized Practice Endorsement (APE) and registration/eligibility with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in a clinical psychology role.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards.
