**North Shore Sports Medicine (NSSM) - Join Our Award-Winning Team**
**Locations**: 340 Brooksbank Ave, North Vancouver.
**1. Registered Clinical Counselor (RCC) / Psychologist** We are seeking passionate and skilled Registered Clinical Counselor or Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team, dedicated to providing comprehensive care for both standard patients including athletes as well as patients with ICBC injuries. If you are experienced in counseling and have a strong desire to help patients recover from physical and emotional injuries, we invite you to apply.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide assessments and evidence-based treatments.
- Support patients through their recovery journey with empathy and professionalism.
**Requirements**:
- Registered with the appropriate provincial regulatory body.
- Experience in counseling patients with ICBC injuries is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented approach.
**2. Counselor with Experience in Sports Psychology** We are also seeking a counselor (can be a separate role for a separate person) with a specialization in sports psychology to support our patients and athletes. This role is crucial for individuals seeking to overcome general life challenges and enhance their sports performance through psychological resilience and mental strategies.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop strategies to enhance mental resilience, performance, and well-being in individuals.
- Work closely with our team of physiotherapists, massage therapists, and other specialists to provide holistic care.
**Requirements**:
- Professional certification or degree in psychology or a related field, with a focus on sports psychology.
- Demonstrated experience in counseling athletes or individuals with sports-related goals.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
