We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychologist or Counsellor (RCC) to join our team. As a Psychologist or Counsellor (RCC), you will play a crucial role in providing mental health services to children, teens, and their families. In this role, you would develop treatment plans, and provide counseling to individuals of all ages.

**Company Description**

Nova Mental Health is a busy, fee-for-services, mental health clinic located in North Vancouver. Our clients generally struggle with anxiety, OCD, ADHD and related issues. We strive to create a supportive, collaborative, and warm team environment.

**Duties**:

- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs based on evidence-based practice (CBT, ACT, and ERP)
- Provide counseling and therapy sessions to children, teens, and parenting support
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Knowledge of and training in OCD is a plus

**Required Training and Experience**:

- Must hold an MA (for counsellor role) or PhD (for psychologist role)
- Registration with the BCACC or the College of Psychologists of BC
- Previous experience working with children and teens with anxiety, ADHD, depression, or behavioural concerns is a must.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines
- Two years of recent related experience providing therapy (aside from a practicum placement)
- Ability to work on a team environment flexibility, and strong written and oral communication skills
- Professional autonomy
- Willing to commit to 6-month renewable contract, with interest in becoming a long-term member of our established practice

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $120.00-$150.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
