Job Title: Sales Representative for Slag and Byproducts
Company: Harsco Environmental
Location: Durham Region and Surrounding Area

Develop and maintain a market for slag and byproducts sales to maximize company profit.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Proactively grow, develop, and manage slag sales within the Durham region and surrounding area
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
• Plan, manage and maintain regular contact with customers, visit customers locations and Harsco site location
• Manage technical follow ups on diverse projects where Harsco's eco-products are being used and work with operations to adjust performance of products accordingly
• Interact with local authorities on environmental and technical topics
• Interact with organizations in the manufacturing and construction industries

**Qualifications:**

• High school diploma or GED is required, post-secondary education in related field is preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years progressive experience in aggregate sales
• Experience in selling products or goods in a manufacturing, construction or industrial setting
• Ability to travel in the Durham region and surrounding area
• Valid Driver's License

**Preferred Qualifications:**

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical field
• Experience in steel mill and/or aggregate products setting
• Demonstrated knowledge of product line and its use
• Demonstrated knowledge of local environmental regulations
• Strong interpersonal and persuasive skills
• Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services
