**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Transportation Coordinator to join our team at Central Interior Native Health Society. As a key member of our outreach team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting clients to and from their appointments, while providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the comfort and safety of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transportation Services: Provide safe and reliable transportation to clients, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, and report any issues or maintenance needs promptly.
  • Client Care: Ensure the comfort and safety of clients during transportation, and provide courteous and professional service.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of mileage, incidents, and delays.
  • Knowledge of Services: Possess good knowledge of Prince George services providers.

Requirements:

  • BC Class 5 Driver's License: Must possess a valid BC Class 5 driver's license.
  • Criminal Record Check: Must have a recent Criminal Record Check (including vulnerable sector).
  • Drivers Abstract: Must have a recent drivers abstract.
  • Indigenous Understanding: Must have an understanding of Indigenous background and colonialism's impact on Indigenous peoples.
  • Communication Skills: Possess good social skills, patience, and empathy, with the ability to deescalate situations.
  • Organizational Skills: Must have good organizational skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Work Schedule: 8 hour shift.
  • Job Type: Full-time.
