Known for research excellence in areas such as Sustainability, Energy, and Healthcare Solutions, the School offers a rich learning environment within state-of-the-art facilities The University is now seeking a new Dean for the Schulich School of Engineering.

Reporting to the Provost, the ideal candidate will be a strategic leader, experienced researcher, and advocate for engineering. Responsibilities include fostering a culture of inclusion, securing support for research, and driving international partnerships.

The Dean will play a key role in shaping the School's future direction, while representing its interests within the University The successful candidate will hold a PhD in a related field, have a strong academic background, and ideally possess leadership experience in academia.

Skills in securing external funding, building industry relationships, and promoting diversity are essential.

The appointment as Dean is for a five-year term, with the opportunity for renewal, offering a tenured Professor position Calgary, ranked as one of the world's most liveable cities, provides a great environment for families.
