About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Personal Banking Associate. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and providing expert advice on our range of personal banking products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Create a positive and welcoming environment for customers, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Product and Service Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our personal banking products and services, including Everyday Banking, credit cards, and personal unsecured lending.
  • Advice and Guidance: Provide expert advice and guidance to customers on their financial needs, helping them to achieve their goals and make informed decisions.
  • Problem-Solving: Act as a point of contact for customer problems, escalating issues as necessary and ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to achieve business objectives, share knowledge and best practices, and contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma and/or equivalent required; post-secondary or undergraduate degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
