About the Opportunity

Aecon is seeking a seasoned Proposal Manager to join our Urban Transportation Solutions group, supporting dynamic transit projects in Canada. Our team is committed to delivering innovative solutions that improve transportation experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage proposal/bid strategies to secure major P3 projects in Canada.
  • Lead research and analysis to identify market opportunities and prepare executive-level reports.
  • Review and develop detailed understanding of client proposal/bid requirements.
  • Manage proposal/bid calendars, responsibility matrices, and documentation through Aecon's SharePoint portal.
  • Coordinate input from internal and external partners, ensuring timely completion of proposal/bid deliverables.
  • Develop formal presentations and present directly to clients and stakeholders.
  • Track and manage pursuit schedules, resource assignment, and compliance checks on submittal documents.
  • Organize team reviews and package final proposal/bid submissions.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in major P3 Canadian proposal submissions.
  • Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Advanced written and communication skills.
  • Ability to gather, synthesize, and present technical information for various audiences.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, performance-driven environments with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry and Microsoft Office suite.
