Job Summary: Electrical Superintendent sought for Kiewit Energy Canada District to oversee field operations, manage teams, and ensure project completion.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Superintendent to join our team in the Edmonton, AB and Calgary, AB region. As an Electrical Superintendent, you will play a key role in the success of our projects, overseeing field operations, managing teams, and ensuring project completion.

Responsibilities:
  • Mentor and develop Jr. Superintendents
  • Review and approve labor rates for Foremen, journeymen, and laborers
  • Manage contract administration, including subcontractor and field management meetings
  • Develop and maintain good client relations
  • Initiate and attend meetings with clients for problem resolution and planning
  • Oversee and approve monthly job cost updates and quarterly cash flow projections
  • Review, approve, and negotiate change orders
  • Develop and implement a plan for project completion and turnover
  • Maintain daily records and ensure timely performance evaluations for direct reports
  • Recommend organizational, policy, and procedural changes
  • Review and approve promotions up to General Foreman
Qualifications:
  • 6+ years' Electrical Construction experience with 1+ years in a Superintendent/Leadership capacity
  • Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand various processes
  • Excellent organizational, administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong experience in leadership, safety, negotiations, planning, and contract administration
