We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent, Building to join our team at Hampton Inn & Suites. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, and debris
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
  • Perform minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Advertise vacancy and contact contractors for repairs and maintenance
  • Supervise other workers and perform safety and security checks
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
Requirements:
  • Dependability and excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and initiative to work under pressure and handle heavy loads
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and make sound judgments
  • Reliability and organized approach to tasks
