Job Title: Superintendent, Building

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent, Building to join our team at Hampton Inn & Suites. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building and providing exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, and other refuse
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Advertise vacancy
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
  • Perform minor repairs on appliances
  • Perform safety and security checks
  • Show apartments and offices to prospective tenants
  • Supervise other workers
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
