**Job Description**

We are looking for a tax professional with excellent communication skills to help our customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our brand by delighting our customers and empowering them to prepare their taxes.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Provide tax guidance for personal tax returns in a remote, seasonal, and customer-facing position
* Collaborate with customers to prepare and/or review their tax return to ensure accuracy and compliance
* Research and troubleshoot tax and technical questions while communicating directly with customers
* Provide a Full Service experience to prepare, review, and file customer returns with the CRA and/or assist customers via tax advice and guidance on required documents
* Research tax regulations to provide accurate advice on how to maximize customers' tax returns
* Create high-quality customer interactions and experiences that instill confidence using deep customer empathy and in-depth tax knowledge and expertise

**Requirements**

* Minimum of 3+ years of paid professional tax preparation experience utilizing professional tax preparation software
* Minimum of 125 tax returns prepared per tax season for the last 3 years
* Experience preparing and filing end-to-end customer personal returns consisting of a variety of topics, including employment, self-employment, rental, investments, T1135, foreign income, and all credits/deductions
* Current and active CRA RepID to allow use of the CRA Represent a Client service
* Working knowledge of tax laws and tax concepts
* Superior critical thinking and problem-solving skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Highly technical and comfortable with Windows, Mac, and mobile platforms, as well as G-suite applications (Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.)
* Flexibility in availability and scheduling
* Strong customer service and customer experience acumen
* Knowledge/experience preparing Quebec Tax (TP1) returns is considered an asset
* Bilingual proficiency (English and French + read, write, speak) is considered a strong asset
* Experience providing support in a contact center environment is considered an asset
