Marketing & Media Coordinator

Golden, Canada Resort of the Canadian Rockies Full time

You will:

  • Be responsible for content management of all social media channels.
  • Ensure website content and layout changes are implemented, and access to the content management tool is current.
  • Be accountable for the collection and distribution of all online collateral such as photos, videos, resort updates and blog material.
  • Coordinate and distribute marketing collateral to internal and external resort partners, ensuring that adequate levels are ordered, maintained and distributed.
  • Maintain an up to date list of third party sites, site contacts and update instructions to ensure all information is accurate.
  • Help ensure excellent media coverage at all events and coordinate photography, video and post event communication.
  • Assist with media hosting itineraries.
  • Be an advocate for health and safety, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

You:

  • Possess a post-secondary education (diploma, degree, certificate) in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field.
  • Have previous experience within the resort, recreation, hotel, or tourism industry.
  • Are proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office programs.
  • Are well versed with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, etc.).
  • Possess previous experience updating websites through a content management tool, as well as managing social media channels and campaigns.
  • Have previous experience with photography and videography in an outdoor recreation environment.
  • Are an advanced skier or snowboarder.
  • Are familiar operating a drone video camera, with a certification to operate.
  • Have previously worked with creative agencies.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings and holidays.
  • Are able to stand for extended periods of time and lift light objects.
  • Can withstand brief exposure to extreme weather conditions (rain, snow, wind, cold) in a mountain environment.
