We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Office Manager to join our team at Walmart Canada. Key Responsibilities- Manage Store Funds: Confirm the accuracy of cash handling and record keeping, and ensure that all store funds are properly accounted for.
- Process Register Bags: Prepare deposits for armored car pickup and reconcile end-of-day business transactions.
- Identify and Address Shortages: Communicate shortages to management and Loss Prevention, and take steps to prevent future shortages.
- Monitor Security Risks: Identify potential security risks and inform management and Loss Prevention.
- Maintain a Safe and Secure Work Environment: Ensure that the safe is secured when the cash office is unattended, and maintain a safe and secure work environment in compliance with Company policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong Attention to Detail: You must be able to accurately manage store funds and maintain accurate records.
- Excellent Communication Skills: You must be able to effectively communicate with management and Loss Prevention regarding shortages and security risks.
- Ability to Work Independently: You must be able to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience in Cash Handling and Record Keeping: You must have experience in managing store funds and maintaining accurate records.
- Knowledge of Company Policies and Procedures: You must have knowledge of Company policies and procedures related to cash handling and record keeping.
