Cardiac Services Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac Services department at Royal Columbian Hospital. This is a Relief Part Time opportunity that requires a high level of clinical expertise and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients and develop individualized care plans to address their unique needs and goals.
- Collaborate with the interprofessional care team to ensure comprehensive care planning and delivery.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and educating patients and families on health management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Completion of Cardiology component of Post Basic Critical Care course, or post basic High Acuity Course, approved Arrhythmia interpretation course plus one (1) year's recent experience in cardiac monitoring or telemetry unit.
- Current Basic Rescuer Certificate.
