About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Fraser Health Authority. As a Registered Nurse, Cardiac Services Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care in our cardiac services department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the interprofessional care team to ensure comprehensive care planning and delivery.
  • Care Coordination: Coordinate nursing care for patients, prioritize tasks, and delegate responsibilities to support staff as needed.
  • Education and Support: Teach patients and families about illness prevention, health restoration, and health maintenance to promote self-care and independence.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes in accordance with practice standards and Fraser Health procedures.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Skills and Abilities: Clinical proficiency in cardiac monitoring or telemetry, ability to communicate effectively, promote person-centered care, and integrate and evaluate data to problem-solve effectively.
