We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Services team at Fraser Health Authority. As a key member of our interprofessional care team, you will provide direct patient care to patients in an acute medical unit, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Direct Patient Care: Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and providing education to patients and families.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with the interprofessional care team to ensure seamless care delivery, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document patient information and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Education and Experience: Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated clinical proficiency in cardiac monitoring or telemetry, ability to assess and prioritize patient needs, and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
