Senior Process Engineer, Energy

Egis is a leading engineering and consulting firm that is shaping the future of the energy industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our team in Calgary, Canada.
As a Senior Process Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, optimization, and management of intricate processes. Your expertise in chemical engineering principles, process simulation, and project management will be essential in ensuring safety, efficiency, and environmental sustainability of engineering designs and operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Liaise between clients and operations staff, equipment vendors, and third-party contractors in project planning and execution.
- Conduct independent studies, operating data analyses, interpretations, and conclusions within the scope of various assigned projects.
- Communicate clearly and concisely with clients, providing proactive and independent recommendations.
- Coordinate completion of Process Engineering tasks and deliverables with other engineering disciplines.
- Manage Process engineering personnel and provide oversight and mentoring through the execution of multiple client projects.
- Provide competent and independent technical direction within the Process Engineering Group.
- Licensed and capable to take professional responsibility for authentication of Process Engineering work packages and drawings.
- Carry out and evaluate conceptual and detailed equipment/system design calculations.
- Perform system capacity and debottlenecking studies for existing upstream petroleum production, processing, and transportation facilities and pipelines.
- Chemical Engineering degree from an accredited university with a minimum of 15 years relevant experience.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer with APEGA.
- Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with multi-disciplinary personnel and clients.
- Previous comparable EPCM experience is considered an asset.
