Seeking a Maintenance Representative to join our team in London, ON, responsible for general maintenance duties and work order management.
Founded in Kingston in 1954, Homestead Land Holdings Limited has grown to become one of Canada's largest and most respected owners of multi-residential apartment buildings.

**Job Responsibilities:**
- Process work orders for the site, ensuring they are inputted, prioritized, and closed accordingly.
- Coordinate and facilitate all work order submissions for the assigned site.
- Log maintenance requests and involve other members of the team to effectively resolve resident work orders.
- Schedule repairs with contractors and provide notice of entries to residents to complete work.
- Perform daily audit of outstanding work orders and follow up on progress.
- Close completed work orders within Homestead's online Maintenance Portal.
- Inventory materials and submit orders to replenish stock.
**General Maintenance Duties:**
- Perform tasks such as changing faucets, taps, toilets, valves, showerheads, and other plumbing fixtures.
- Replace smoke detectors, light switches, fluorescent tubes, and other electrical components.
- Test generators and perform routine maintenance on fire systems.
- Conduct maintenance walks weekly to identify and address common area deficiencies.
- Repair and report all common area deficiencies, including faulty door closures, light bulbs, and graffiti.
**Requirements:**
- Computer proficiency.
- Excellent mobility and communication skills.
- Mechanical background and cleaning skills.
- Organized and able to handle multiple projects.
- Administratively organized and patient with residents.
A satisfactory reference check and criminal records clearance are required for the position.
