Seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Associate Advisor to provide exceptional client service and support to Investment Advisors in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

RBC Dominion Securities is a leading investment and wealth management firm in Canada, known for its relationship-focused approach and commitment to helping clients achieve their financial goals. As an Associate Advisor, you will play a key role in deepening existing relationships and welcoming new clients to the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide proactive advice and support to clients and Investment Advisors, helping to identify new opportunities and grow the business.
  • Leverage your planning skills to facilitate meetings and events for Investment Advisors, including agenda planning, documentation preparation, and post-meeting follow-up.
  • Tap into your problem-solving skills to provide timely and smooth solutions to client inquiries and account issues.
  • Build and execute business plans, client segmentation exercises, and client service plans to drive growth and client satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities for asset consolidation and referrals across the existing client base.
  • Support new client acquisition and nurture relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs) and RBC partners.
  • Conduct ongoing research on markets and investments, providing regular updates to the advisory team.
  • Support clients throughout the Wealth Management process, coordinating activities with internal specialists and managing documentation.

Requirements:

  • Approval as a Registered Representative (RR) with IIROC.
  • Successful completion of the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) course or Investment Management Techniques (IMT).
  • University degree.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong skills working with business applications/technology, including Microsoft Office Suite.

  • 4 years or more of professional experience within the investment industry.
