Director of Environmental Services

Spring Living Retirement Communities is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Environmental Services to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical condition of our retirement communities is maintained to the highest standards, reflecting our brand and values.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspect all work areas and essential equipment to ensure safety standards are maintained, clean and sanitary, and equipment is in safe working order.
- Manage the facilities and grounds to maintain a "showcase" condition at all times.
- Select, train, develop, engage, and manage performance of all Environmental and Housekeeping staff.
- Manage department budget and support the community capital budget process.
- Manage external vendor contracts with respect to service and cost.
- Ability to commute or relocate to Kitchener, ON.
- Full vaccination against COVID-19 prior to starting work.
