Elementary Occasional Teaching Position for Year 2 Bachelor of Education Students

The Waterloo Region District School Board is seeking applications from current Year 2 Faculty of Education students scheduled to graduate in Spring/Summer 2025 for our Elementary Occasional Teacher Roster. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about creating a supportive learning environment and fostering the growth and development of students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach elementary students in a JK-8 setting
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student well-being and academic success
Requirements:
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Education program at a recognized university
• Scheduled to graduate in Spring/Summer 2025
• Primary/Junior or Junior/Intermediate qualifications as recognized by the Ontario College of Teachers
